After 6 years, Leica has finally upgrade the M9. The Leica M10 is here. The biggest change in the M10 is its body size. This model was inspired by the company’s film cameras. It is slimmer and smaller. It finally has a separate ISO dial, it can integrated an attachable electronic viewfinder, and a simple back layout for easier operation. Leica has also introduce a new 24 megapixel sensors for improve ISO, dynamic range and a missing low pass filter for better sharpness. The body also integrate GPS and WiFi but it lack video recording. This camera is a mix of the pat ans modern. It also quite expensive coming at $ 6,600.00.
While the company did become smaller, the battery also got smaller compare to the M9. I am not entirely sure about this camera. Yes it is expensive but the best thing about own a Leica now is their lenses. There are Leica fans out there but it would have been nice to see Leica to improve battery for its fans can shoot more instead of going home to charge.
