Serica watches have a cult like following in the wrist watch community. This new model, the 8315 travel chronometer is a GMT wrist watch. It has a the typical Serica hands and markers designs with the added 3rd lollipop hands and dual color time zone on the bezel. The watch is powered by a Soprod C125 that is also COSC. It is an independent GMT hand with a power reserve of 42 hours. The watch is coming at a 39mm diameter with a 46.50mm lug to lug, which means it can be worn by anyone. The watch is covered in stainless steel with a double dome sapphire crystal display. The 8315 will come in two colors, desert red and enamel black. Best of all, it is a certified chronometer. Love the desert red color. Also, Serica’s GMT is unique from the rest of many GMT out there. Although, for the price of $2k, I would love to see an actual GMT movement.
