FUJIFILM has finally recently released an upgrade to their highly acclaimed X100, the X100F.
This will be the fourth generation of the X100 and every new model is an incremental upgrade. It still has the X-trans APS-C sensors. Fuji has now improve its hybrid autofocus system with 91 focus points and it only takes 0.08 seconds to focus. It also has an ISO dial that is integrated on to the shutter speed. They have also redesigned the back for simpler operations. Not only that, they have also included a joystick for faster operations. Priced at $ 1,300.00, the X100F is a niche product for those who just wants to take photos.
They have not upgrade the lens,. the price still high, and still big for its size. I am not sure if the consumer will like this but then again this is not for the general consumer. I really wished that Fuji would vastly improve the X100, sadly the X100F is not the answer.
