The products of Star Wars are coming in full force. Haling from Boulder Colorado, Sphero has made BB-8 toy that is fully functional and can be controlled by smartphones via Wifi. It is a smaller size than the original but nonetheless it has the same functionality from the sounds, response, and the head that hovers just above the main body. BB-8 has multiple modes such as drive, patrol, massage and voice. It may be a toy but it is a technical marvel that looks absolutely cool! It is avialable for pre-order but it is already sold out in Amazon. This will certainly be a hot commodity just before episode VII comes out.
This droid is cool. It may just be a toy but when there is nothing to do, it can be cool to watch and fun. It has certain limitation as it is connection to wifi but when you just need a bit of entertainment, this can take that place.
