Comme des Garcons have collaborated with FREITAG to create a holiday collection. As usual with Freitag, they are colorful and made from the usual tarpaulins fabric. Freitag bags are not yet popular here in the USA but Freitag bags are known to be durable, quality made and made to last. Not only that, these pieces are upcycled. Pieces are messenger, tote, postman and grocery bags. In terms of colors, they are colorful, which is also something Comme des Garcons would do. A notable added design is the side Comme Des Garcons label. The prices of the limited collection will range from $200 to $450. Additionally, this collaboration will be limited to small shops such as Dover Street Market and pop ups. Be on the look out for the bags This December.
Love this collaboration and glad Comme Des Garcons and FREITAG agree to have it upcycled. Also, it is a full on collection and not just 1 or 2 pcs. Bad part is it will be Comme Des Garcons prices and not the other way around.
