I do not normally post Dr. Martens collaboration because there are a lot of them but when I do, they are special. This collaborations with Slam Jam is using the 1461 silhouette but the lace and the supper are different and unique. Instead of the normal 6 grommets style lace, they are using an 8 lacing system that is on the upper and on the center with a tab. The upper is not smooth through but instead have embossing and lines and for some reason it works. Also, has an embossed of ‘(Un)corporate Uniforms Branding’ on the upper. It does retain the smooth leather, yellow stitching, and Dr. Martens bottom sole. Fresh from the lab and available in black coly at a price of $160. Available now!
This is one of the few collaboration that I like as it does retain the look while still looking unique. It also looks quite futuristic. The design is subtle but makes a big impact from the classic look.
