Rolex have finally made some updates on its classic no date Submariner. Reference 124060, The new Submariner is still made of 904L steel with the markers made of precious metal. Not only that, they have moved on from the 40mm case diameter to 41mm case diameter. A minor yet difference case size as Rolex has stuck with 40mm for many years. The lugs also got slimmer to give the new case size a slimmer look. The biggest change is the automatic movement. The previous model was the caliber 3130, which gives 48 hours of power reserve. Now it has a 70 hour power reserve due to due the 3230 caliber. With all the changes, the prices ahve also increase from $7,500 to $8,100. The new Submariner will be available to authorized dealers starting September 2. Check it out!
I am not a fan of the 41mm although I am interested in the coming review of the new Submariner. I wonder what the measurements of the lug to lug width is. This will let me know if it’s going to be wearing big or small. Someday, I will have one!
