Cameron Weiss went to Switzerland to be schooled in watch making, He then went back to the states to create Weiss Watch Company as he is pushing for American to bring forth the American watch industry. He summarizes and concludes that America as a whole is non existent in the U.S. after World War Ii and companies have decided to outsource their production and materials overseas thus, the American influence in horology has been nonexistent. It is a great story and take in the industry.
America as a worker is skillful and talented. Ever since we as a country decided to move production overseas, the skills of many have slowly disappeared. It is great to see company such as Weiss to bring it back.
