Ricoh – GR III Street Edition

Just when you though Ricoh was finish with the GR III, they released the street edition. This street edition is much more compact with a external view finder. Also, the sensor was bump up to 24.23 megapixels. It still retains the 18mm wide angle with F2.8 aperture. Also retains the 3 axis image stabilization, USB-C, Wi-FI, and Bluetooth. Although, it comes with a new optional wide conversion lens. The main exterior change is the orange yellow barrel ring, which Ricoh says it is reminiscent of a street crossing lines. It will only come in this color at a limited of 3,500 units at a price of $1,200. Will be available in mid July.

I was never a fan of the Ricoh GR series because it is overprice, limited features and lack of innovation from the company, Ricoh. I do like the added color on the body for some reason, I still think this camera is overprice.
