Seems like this type of toe design are becoming a trend. Maison Margiela takes the design and puts it on a loafers and somehow it works! The Tabi is made from smooth grain genuine leather, leather lining and leather bottoms. It has tonal top stitching for subtle look. The main focal point is the square cleft toe. Similar to a camel toe. Since it is a loafer, it has the loader band on the upper. For now it only comes in black at a price of $1,000. Available now!
Honestly, I like how different it is but for me, it just does not work. It does not seem formal but there is no doubt that when looking at it from the side, it looks beautiful.
