For Zenith’s 50th anniversary, it is giving the world a revival of its El Primero model A384. A384 is an homage or revival watch due 37mm case size that is true to its roots. The sapphire glass covers the chronograph dials that is colored in black and white. It uses an automatic movements that has a 50 hour power reserve and is 1/10 of a second accuracy. Since it is a chronograph, it has subdials which has numbers and markers for its time telling, and the date is located between the 4 and 5 markers. It has the classic el primero with red second hands. Will be available in leather band or a metal bracelet at a cost of $8,000. It will be viable this October.
This watch looks great and it has the sizing and the look right. The Panda colorway is certainly a bonus. Also, at 37mm, both male and female will be able to wear this. I was looking at the omega speedmaster but the 38mm speedmaster is hard to come by. This might be a good option.
