The Lost Explorer – Repurposed NASA Parachute Tote Bags

It is nice to see a company re-purposing items that NASA has used in the past. This tote bag has been sewn by using old NASA parachutes. Parachutes by NASA are made of a blend of polyester and nylon with a backing of kevlar. In additional to that, it uses webbing grommets, cording and stoppers for cinching the bags at the top.  The lost explorer has decided to re-used them to make tote bags. A very large tote bags to make sure all items that you need can be carried in to one bag. Parachute are lightweight and can be neatly store, this bag is no different but it will only be in limited quantities. Available now for $125.

Glad to see companies are re-purposing or recycling items for other uses. At least it does not get thrown away and be stuck in land fill. The one thing I hate about this bag is the webbing, way to narrow and it will certainly dig through the hands.
