Grado has finally release a headphone that is wireless. They named the wireless headphone, GW100. In true Grado fashion, it is exactly design to look like a Grado, something that is retro with a cyberpunk look. It is quite compact and minimal. It still uses the rod type adjustments on the ear pads. This is not a noise canceling headphones but it is an open air design. This time, there are no cords. Features are Bluetooth 4.2 with apt-X, 15 hour battery life, 32 ohms impedance with a frequency response of 20 Hz – 20 KHz. It can be charge using micro-USB. It will soon be available and certainly a lot of Grado cult followers will be on the look out. Check it out!
I really wish they move to USB type-C instead of micro-USB. Seems like they went with micro-USB due to pricing. I also like the design and I am hoping it will be light but still has the Grado sound!
