Sonos has recently announced their new soundbar that is smaller than their Playbar, the Beam. It has four woofers, one tweeters and three passive radiators for added base. It only has five far field microphone because sonos has decided to add AI, Alexa to control the beams for any request from music, TV shows and movies. Alexa can also turn on and off the soundbar including tuning it. It can also play apple Airplay for easy apple convenience. Inputs are ethernet and HDMI. It also comes with an HDMI to optical adapter. The beam can also connect to other Sonos speakers and create a multi room set up. The beam will come in white or black colorway and will be available on July 1 at a price of $400.
I am very interested in this soundbar as based on the preview. it the same if not better sound than the Playbar. It also has an HDMI, which the Playbar does not. The best thing is that it is cheaper than the Playbar.
