TIMEX has brought back the MK1, which was a watch that was produce for two months for a government contract bid and now making it even better. Made from acrylics lens, quartz movement, and nylon webbing and aluminum case. They call it MK1 Aluminum because the case is from aluminum. The hands are simple with arabic numerals, and of course TIMEX indiglo. This watch was design for military and that is staying true. This is available in four colors, black, blue, white, and olive. It is a utilitarian and tool watch made to tell time. it is now available for less than $100.00.
I like the look of this watch but I am not a fan of the 40mm case. Also I wish TIMEX would make mechanical watches again. I truly think that this watch was made for a mechanical movement. Imagine this watch with a mechanical movement, indiglo, 30mm case and easy to read numerals. It is a good recipe.
