SWIMS is certainly moving up in the industry and the storm gaiter is their newest footwear edition. Made from genuine leather, suede, stretch neoprene , mesh inner lining and rubber outsole. All of the materials are water resistant. SWIMS was inspired by the active, Scandinavian winter lifestyle. As with the design, it is subtle, not extravagant as this shoe is for the active and outdoor lifestyle. To securely fit this shoe, it uses a zipper closure instead of laces. As usual, swims always go for the clean and subtle design and this shoe no exception although I do like that they are using a jacket and zipper for closure to protect from the wind. I am not sure about the use of leather as this is for the outdoors so if it’s get wet, then the shape will not be the same.
