bleu de chauffe has unveiled their new leather goods collection for the Fall and Winter 2016. This collection consist of bags ranging from messenger, duffle, briefcase, and backpack. The materials they use ranges from, vegetable tanned leather, waxed canvas, and metal trims. The college pays homage to those who are working class that uses these items for functionality, instead of fashion, thus the designs are function over form. These items are made to last and best of all, they are all made in France. The collection is now available for purchase.
The collection does not bring something new in terms of design but does show that certain parts of France still make goods that are function over form. The bags look great but would have like to see better color choices.
