Etnia Barcelona has created a collection that is inspired by the the famous 1970s artist, Jean-Michael Basquiat. The collection are sunglasses.This collection is all about self movements and self forward, such as the movement of Basquait. The colors are taken from the artist’s colorful paintings. Etnia have also integrated the artist’s famous motif on every right side of the frame. Every sunglasses has different silhouette and styles to ensure they are one of a kind and original. The collection will soon be available but at a limited release.
This collection is nice. I do wonder why they chose the optics to be bright and different colors? Also, each frame is black. I also want to know where do the inspiration in the design come from. I understand the motif but I just do not understand the overall execution.
