The 2015 HTC One has finally been announced at the Mobile World Congress 2015. Not much change when it comes to design but HTC is banking on its internal upgrades to sustain current and lure new customers. Below is a list of the major upgrades.
- HTC Sense UI 7.0
- 3 GB RAM
- 21 Megapixel camera with 4K resolution video recording
- Quick Charge 2.0
- Snapdragon 810 chipset
- Corning Gorilla Glass 4
As mention above, the design has not change but the internal upgrade is what counts. Gone is the ultrapixel on the camera, instead it now uses high megapixel count. The competition is fierce, will see how the consumers will react to this new model.
It is not an exciting upgrade for HTC. The design is becoming stale and the internal upgrade is not huge. The may have been conservative this time but for me, it is not enough to lure me in to this model. I was hoping to see a removable battery option but they are not willing to do that. It’s another pass for me on HTC’s flagship.
