After almost 100 years, Converse has finally updated their classic Chuck Taylor. Introducing, the Chuck Taylor All Star II. Equip with the same rubber bottom sole, canvas upper, and the woven converse logo patch. The contrast stitching it now gone. Also, they have finally improve the insole by using Nike’s Lunarlon inserts. Silhouette is the same, the improvement on the inside is what makes this model an upgrade from it’s predecessor. Since upgrading the shoe itself, the price has also upgrade ranging from $70 to $90. Will see how the market reacts tot he new model, but it looks good. Available now!
What do I think? It certainly an improvement, which was overdue. I do not believe that the price should have gone up. At that price, it should be made in the USA. I like that fact that the insole has finally change with added support, which I hated on the first model. I am sure people will buy this since it is a classic but for me. I am still 50/50. If it was on sale, then I would buy it.
