Sony – RX100 VI

Sony has recently announced the best compact digital camera in the world. The successor to the RX100 V, the RX100 VI. This is an incremental upgrade as it not an upgrade but more of an update. It still has is tilt screen, 1″ sensor size, it can now capture 30 fps in 4k including HDR, and the screen is finally can be touch. Still missing from the camera is a mic port for vlogging. The biggest change in the RX100 is the change in lens as it has 24-200mm lens with an F2.8 – 4.5 compared to RX100V f1.8 – 2.8.  For a camera this small, it is a technological marvel. As usual it only comes in black but the price went up by $200. It will be available on July 2018 at a cost of $1200.

The RX100 has always been expensive but I did not think it would be more expensive the a DSLR. Also many people including me are not happy with the slower aperture. I rather buy the RX100 V and it looks the like V will keep its value.
