Sony has release the new Successor of the Xperia Line, the Z5. It was announced in IFA 2015 that recently finished. The Z5 has loads and loads of new features. Design and silhouette is still the same but it is quite evolutionary update. Below are lists of new features.
- Fingerprint scanner on the side.
- New Exmor RS camera sensor
- IP68 rating
- High Res Audio and DNC
- Triluminos display
- Snapdragon 810.
- 3GB ram
- 2900 mah battery
The notable changes are the larger capacity battery that is said to last 2 full days and the finger print scanner that is located on the side, which is natural. It does not have a 2k screen but for a phone this size, it is not needed. Sony is hoping that this model is Sony become a powerhouse in the mobile industry.
Sony made a smart move by putting the finger print scanner on the side, which is natural. The bad part is it made the phone thicker. It is a positive in a way though as the battery is larger. It comes in multiple colors as usual but I am not sure why they chose a dark teal for the fourth color because it is ugly compare to the other three. Sony is hoping that this will make consumers be more aware of their mobile products but I am not so sure if they accomplish that.
