It is now back to school. This means a lot of you have already bought supplies or about to buy supplies. This list of mine is my top five backpack that have the basic silhouette, which means it has one big compartment and front compartment for small items. The prices of these backpacks are reasonable but maintaining durability and quality. In no order…
- Herschel Supply Co. Heritage Select Canvas. Made of 100% Cotton with genuine leather trims. This has the basic classic design. Not only that the fabrication of this backpack is quality. Also using metal zippers which should last for years. Have a laptop? Not a problem as it can fit most 15″ laptops. Price at $90.00
- Hailing from Sweden, it is the Fjallraven Kanken Laptop 15.” This backpack is under appreciated. It it is durable, can fit a 15″ laptop, not only that but is stylish and comes in different colors. Price at $110.00
- Lexdray San Diego pack is a utilitarian approach in this list. It has a side pocket pocket for bottle or small accessories. Made of 1000d cordura nylon. It can fit a 15″ laptop, several zipper pockets in the main compartment and a bit front pocket. What mroe can you ask for? Price at $99.00
- Everlane Modern Zip Backpack. Made of water resistant twill and metal YKK zipper. This is pure quality for a great price. It is the cheapest backpack in this list coming at $68.00 It has a laptop compartment, one big compartment and a front compartment. Like the Herschel, this takes the classic design.
- HAERFEST Hi Backpack. This is the most expensive backpack in this list coming at $365.00. It looks similar to the Everlane but the look of it distinguishes from all the backpacks. While it does take on the basic design, the brand modify the body just a bit to make it look luxurious.
I am sure there are other backpacks I left out but this is why I only chose the basic silhouette design because it is what we think of when buying backpacks for school. Many will say just buy a Jansport. Jansport have not updated their classic backpack as many have carried their tech items with them to school. There are many who cannot afford the backpacks in this list but it is better to buy a good backpack with great quality that will last many years than a cheap low quality backpack.
