Normally, We do not get to see Gucci collaborate with other brands but Gucci and Globe-Trotter seems like a perfect blend. For this collaboration, the collection consist of briefcase, rolling luggage and a handbag. The design are in G-T fashion but covered in Gucci’s monogram. The rolling luggage has a red lining, with adjustable cinch straps inside. Not only that, it has exterior straps and lock to keep everything tight and secure. The briefcase is the same except it has no wheels and it is more of a carry-on. As for the hand bag, it is quite distinctive as it has wooden handle and lock with the same red lining. The collection is inspired by the yesteryear when traveler use clam shell type luggage instead of zippered luggage. The collection will be available soon in Gucci stores and certainly will be expensive as these two brands do not sell items for cheap.
I like the collaboration and the collection Gucci store. Not only that, I also like the red lining. It is too bad that the color scheme is quite monotone. Then again, I am sure Gucci wanted it too look classic. They could have at least made the lining has something sort of design.
